Jerky 4

The dehydrated meat about 8 hours later. You can see how much it has reduced in size.
I meant to weigh the finished product but forgot.
However, I started with 2kg of beef which then absorbed about another 250g of marinade for a total weight of 2250g. After dehydration is complete, I would have ended up with about 700g of jerky.
Goes great with home brew.
BTW, I bought some jerky in Canada - had a couple of bits and threw the rest out. It was bloody awful. I think there's a market for me there.
