10ks north of the centre of Brisbane is a little slice of country - a paddock surrounded by suburbia and home to a number of head of cattle and a couple of horses. With views back towards the city it must seem like the perfect place for these bovines to while away the hours.
The only problem for them is that it next to the wholesale butcher we go to. I don't know if the cattle are aware of what their neighbours are up to.
Looks like this young fellow knew and had tried to make a run for it.
I didn't know what to tag it with Margaret @ubobohobo. Male but didn't check to see if he was missing any bits.
Wondered where this image popped up from...In Brisbane. Poor little fellow. Think he's been out helping himself to the grassy verges or maybe as you say he knows his fate. By the look in his eye he expected you to help him with his plan.
@ubobohobo What should I have called him Margaret? He's a male but I don't think he had all his bits. Too old for a calf? Too young for a yearling? Too young for a bullock? A wiener?
