Yes he got back into the water at Snapper Rocks - his home break
Bloody hell he was lucky. What impressed me most about him was how honest he was about his feelings afterwards. No macho "Give me another beer" heroics, just an honest expression of the fact that he was freaking out and had been mentally scarred. I thought that said a lot about the man.
