One Morning in Urunga 16

Love the ripple patterns on the sand. I think that the two circular holes are from small sting rays embedding themselves in the sand while they wait for prey top come along.

I hope you have enjoyed my early morning stroll along the boardwalk at Urunga. Not bad for 2.5 hours hey. If every morning provided so many photo opportunities as this did(and quite a few good shots didn't make it to posting also) 365 would be a doddle wouldn't it. :-)

This is very cool - I didn't know that sting rays would leave a hole like that! FAV

The light and shadows here have created a cool affect. Interesting to think there might be sting rays there in those holes.
