For the theme this week I can only post a tribute to my late husband. This plaque is enlarged for the photo but is on a rock under the morton bay fig tree. This tree was my 'engagement ring', I can't believe that was 10 years ago.
Tragically I lost my love to MND or ALS (depending on your country) in 2014 and his ashes now reside under this beautiful tree. @koalagardens
What a wonderful tribute to your love, Chris. He would be so proud of you and would have loved to see what you have achieved and created. Who knows, maybe he can. My heart goes out to you 🕊💕
@ludwigsdiana@pistache@jacqbb@30pics4jackiesdiamond thank you all - it is indeed the worst thing one can imagine - and yet out of the ashes this beautiful conservation project has grown. he would indeed love what is happening here.
What a beautiful tribute to your true love. He was so romantic to plant a living engagement ring. That was so unique ... like the love you both treasured.
So sorry it was cut short.
