Dan de Leon's Flower

Some consider dandelions a nuisance. A subset of those people treat them as an existential threat to all of humanity, and respond to their presence accordingly. But I think they're very pretty, and that latter group is best advised to not venture into my backyard. They'd probably die of apoplexy.

This is a picture of the dandelion flower, and I got a shot of the dandelion seedhead last June.

I, too, like these little guys. However, admittedly when living in the Midwest where they were far more prolific than here, the parental units were less than pleased to have them sprout up everywhere!
