This Missus and I went to the Neptune Festival Boardwalk Weekend on the Virginia Beach oceanfront boardwalk. We started out walking from the south end of the boardwalk. The northernmost Festival activities were at the 24 foot/7.3 meter tall King Neptune statue.
Not only was the light perfect, the crowd had a large gap so that I could get a shot of the whole statue without any of those pesky mortal humans imposing themselves on the image of the great god of the sea.
