The Missus and I are in the Washington DC area caring for a friend who had recent surgery. We were able to get away for a few hours and went to Great Falls National Park. These are the Great Falls of the Potomac River.
For some perspective, left of center (1/3 of the way to the left edge) there is a lime green spot. That's a kayak being portaged across the rocks.
@maggiemae Great photo opportunities abound, but it was extremely hot - 90 degrees (32c) - with over 60% humidity. Pretty miserable in a short period of time.
