I went to Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge in cold weather with high winds looking to get a better picture of tundra swans than I've managed to get up until now. Most of the flock was well off in the distance and those that were sort of in range for my lens were obscured behind tall grasses. I managed to catch these two incoming swans just before they landed to join their obscured friends.
