I saw a great egret in the Ashville Bridge Creek. I parked and walked back to find a whole bunch of mallards and hooded mergansers swimming by it.
The mergansers are the smaller ones in front, while the mallards are the larger ducks between the mergansers and the egret. It's interesting to note that there are two males and three females in both groups.
