I've been watching a pair of wild turkeys that live in the woods near the Chesterfield County Airport (the airport perimeter fence is in the background). Every now and then there is a third turkey with them.
I was getting worried about them as I hadn't seen them since late January. Since then, we have had fairly cold weather for our part of the world, as well as two ice storms in a single week, the first of which brought down many, many trees. But I guess I didn't need to worry because there were nine of them. They were spread out so I couldn't get a group photo (turkeys are notoriously reluctant to pose together), except these three.
