I learned today that opening your laptop can cause more damage than bring benefits... Almost messed it up! But it had a happy ending though :)

Great shot! I have been thinking about a similar shot, just having repaired my wife's laptop that went into a coma.

@hjv This is mine and my fiance just opened it to clean it inside, because the cooler was making plane engine sounds :p. I came to think it was worth it, since it works much better now. Almost lost it though because the screen was blank after reassembling it... I googled what could cause this and apparently it had to do with the order we had placed the RAMs back in their slots (never would've thought these two had anything to do with one another).
That was my boyfriend's laptop I messed up back in october (wow, you remembered!) and it's unfortunately a lost cause :(
