Boy and Fish

Taken yesterday at the fishing contest Holes for Heroes . The American flag just showing along with a veterans flag to the left. I really liked the way monochrome allows one to concentrate on the lads face and expression. Will post a slightly different shot only in color for album 2.

My preference is for the b&w shot, too. I like both, though... for their candid nature and lovely shots of this young man and his newly caught fish.

Really like both of these shots, but prefer this one, too. I think because we can see full figures in the background, and get more of the feel of ice fishing with the little huts, too.
Both are great, though. Love the boy and his fish! Fav
