Pam and I decided to take a trip south of the Twin Cities along the Mississippi River on the Great River Road (Hwy 61). A side trip brought us to a very small community of Welch. The old feed mill, now a tubing and canoeing outfitter, is located on the Cannon River, which flows into the Mississippi. For a different view of Welch see
