I admire the skill and dedication that goes into restoring old machinery. Today, Builyan School had a family fete which included a truck and tractor show. Some amazing restorations were there for those of us who love old machinery.
This is a SIFT tractor from the early 1950s painstakingly restored by a local enthusiast. I believe they were manufactured in France and this one was abandoned and overgrown with lantana on a local farm before it was rescued and given this amazing facelift. I wish I had a "before " photo to compare with the finished product.
It is named "Huntley" after the owner it faithfully served for many years in the latter half of the last century.
I really liked this tractor too Margaret but decided to go with the fire engine.
I like your composition and the collage!
Probably the best that tractor has ever looked in its life!
Neville did an outstanding job restoring it!!
