I've set myself a challenge to create a photographic record of the birds of our area. Yesterday I spent several hours at a lake on our property capturing water bird shots but the ducks were very suspicious and kept their distance. I'll have to improve my stalking techniques. In this little group there are three different types - hard heads, grey teal and pacific black ducks.
