Friends and family gathered last night for a wonderfully warm, friendly surprise party organised to celebrated the 50th wedding anniversary of a local couple married in our tiny local church back in 1964. Congratulations to the happy couple.
I loved looking at this. I hope it was a lovely celebration.
the cake and story reminded me of my mother's cake decorating days. Also memories of the tiny church in Abercorn which was built in Mum &
Dad's day. I remembered it as a big place where people danced on Saturday night while Dad played his violin! When I visited as an adult in the 1990's I was astounded at how small it was!!!
@ethelperry I follow Diane Giorgio in Malta and had to smile to myself when I saw where he attended
Sunday service last Sunday and compared it to our tiny little wooden church (like Abercorn's).
