Hadi is the cyclone hovering off the Queensland coast at the moment. Unfortunately all we saw of it was some gusty winds, cloud low on the mountain and a little bit of misty rain. Never thought I'd wish for a cyclone but at this late stage in the season it was our only hope for relief from this horrid drought.
Amazing how our weather is all so extreme and all so different, snow on the east coast of America, rain in the UK and terrible drought with you. We should all swap!
For some reason Margaret, I thought you guys were in rural NSW. Gone back over your pics (a good experience) and realise you are in Central Qld? I always think we should welcome cyclones but not the Yasi type ones. Their benefits usually far outweigh the costs.
