After supplying accommodation and meals to the Barambah Bush Bash crew for the past two days, this morning we waved them off from the verandah of the Discovery Centre, (an accommodation centre in our village that is run by volunteers as a community project). The travellers from South East Queensland were off on the third leg of their discovery tour through the Boyne Valley an Northern Burnett districts. They are following roads less travelled and having a great deal of fun and adventure as they do so.
@vernabeth Thanks Beth. This is one of the older houses in the district and is a beautiful example of what is called in architecture "a Queenslander". - a wooden house, on stumps (posts) that raise it off the ground and with wide verandahs for coolness.
The framing, the shadows, and your description all work together to make a row of cars into an adventure. I want to jump into the backseat of one of the cars and tag along to see what they find next. Very nice.
