This exquisite miniature pot is the mud nest of a wasp. Always attached to a flat surface and about the size of a small coin, it is built by a yellow and black wasp that fills it with spiders and other tiny insects before depositing her egg and sealing it up for the incubation period. Nature is truly amazing.
