As we watched the flood waters rise before our eyes the children were mesmerized by the many and varied insects escaping onto the bitumen. This is our main road north which was closed for 10 hours.
So much to learn in life! I remember being fascinated by the appearance of thousands of toads after a rain, and equally mystified by their disappearance soon thereafter.
