Bud by ubobohobo

Bud

On the 24th March we were irrigating the lucerne patch. These buds open to reveal the two rich purple/black petals of the siratro flower. this creeper, an introduced North American legumes that thrives in our conditions, has become a real nuisance smothering every thing around it and making it almost impossible to move where it grows. But the cattle love it and keep it under control out in the paddocks.
Great capture of this bud, and very interesting narrative. Glad the cattle takes care of the issue. FAV
