Warren spotted this little microbat on the floor at his door. No bigger than a bantam's egg, it was very poorly. It valiantly resisted my help but I was able to remove him safely to the barn where they live but I feel his time is up. Poor little mite.
It might surprise you. I had one in my house and when I finally found it hanging on the wire on the back of a painting, and carried the painting onto the porch, it lay like that a long time and then flew away.
