In my quest to find light in my dark home, and making due with the darkness after work, feeding and putting the kids down to bed, two glass stars that hang in our picture window from the holidays inspired me to play with light, darkness, and reflections. Ironically, we haven't lit these for years (mostly because of kids, partly because we're too tired to bother), so this project not only inspired me to capture the moment, but to "create light." And reminds me that we need to de-holiday the house.
