Get-pushed try number 2. Same pose as yesterday, different processing. I was to capture a portrait using one light source. I really wanted to flatten out my features with a strong black/white contrast. I like the hint of red at my eye lid, but I'm not sure if I overdid it?
cool high contrast - I wonder what it might look like with the light angled down slightly so the shadow cast by your chin was less harsh...it would also enhance the detail of the light in your eye which is great. These sorts of shots are very tricky...!
Whoa! Phantom of the Opera? There's something Picasso-esque about the black side. Very interesting. It's so different from yesterday's I'd have thought you took a related photo, not processed the same one.
Such creative processing! Very cool!
I see we are get-pushed-buddies this week. You have really beautiful shots in your albums, but what I don't see is some furry friends. Please take a close up shot of a furry animal (no birds or reptiles etc), domestic or otherwise. Have fun and I look forward to seeing your results.
@abhijit I see your version is really different! I like how you wiped out your nose - I love playing with photos like this and am inspired by your work.
