This butterfly, found in the iris garden in the Meiji Shrine in Tokyo, was being incredible photogenic. With some patience, I managed this shot, which is my first clearish butterfly in flight capture. I was fascinated with the amazing wing patterns!
Absolutely amazing that you caught it in flight! I also think you were showing more than 'some' patience. You really stayed with it and this shows why it's so important to just wait to get the shot you want.
