This is the famous bamboo forest in western Kyoto called "Arashiyama," or "storm mountain." As you'd imagine, the greens are spectacular.

So having filled up all 3 of my June albums chronologically with my favorites from the Picture Japan trip, July 1-12 will be my non-chronologic favorites.
