Daffodil for a Giant

Yep, it's twice as big as I am. On the intersection of two major roads, as an invitation to the soon-to-be-opened straw and hay exhibit. I was debating on this one or the one with some traffic lights and cars in the background for a contrast, but this one won.

As always, thank you very much for viewing and feedback. Feel free to critique and comment to your liking! :) Thank you.
Taking your life in your hands for your project! Great capture! Interesting sculpture.

I can't imagine how hard this would be to build out of hay! Amazing.

Thank you so much! I am sure you are going to see more "I don't know how they made it"-type of hay structures. Last year, they went all out with a giant Easter bunny, chickens etc.... So, more strange hay coming out way here. I will just have to wait for a sunny day in order to have a golden-glowing hay instead of the sad brownish grey one like it is on a cloudy day. :)

Susan, I was safe - there is an island in the middle. I was rather worried about German police stopping by and asking me what I am doing on the lawn off the pedestrian path :)

Thank you, Kristina, Marta and Beverly! This is a newer thing in Ludwigsburg - since the pumpkin exhibit in the fall attracts so many visitors, they wanted to offer something in the spring, and that's what they came up with. Last year was the first one they had the hay exhibit, and it was a hit. :)

@kellycsva - These are great, they really get your attention better than any billboard would do. Thanks to their weird shape and structure, they really do stand out among all that urban landscape around.
