It was hard to look for something to photograph when you know those tulips are waiting for your in the park, being all gorgeous in the morning sun. So, I was back to the gardens today. Very hard to decide, which one of the myriad to photograph, but I liked how this one "allowed" me to compose the shot without many distractions around.
Dear all, thank you so much for viewing, commenting on, liking and fav-ing today's tulip! It has been very cooperative as a subject, being all glamorous and pretty, and I am happy it came through in the picture. Since all of them have more petals than the "normal" tulips, they all looked so full and filled with textures inside, just lovely, especially in the morning light. I am glad you all enjoyed it. Thanks a lot!
Thank you very much for your visit, views and comments! The more days pass, the more I like this flower, especially knowing that the time for the spring flowers will be over sooner than one thinks. I am glad you liked it and that this image hopefully brightened your day. Thanks!
@jackbenton Thsnk you, Jack! I did put a vignette a bit just to darken out the leaf in the lower left corner, but the rest of it was just like it already more or less. The tulips were watered, and the ground around them was very dark and wet. It was one of the last tulips in the row, so the background turned out much nicer than in other shots this day and looked like the flower has been vignetted already. :)
