City in the Mustang's hood: black-and-white

Ok, here is the black-and-white version of today's picture from the main album. Soliciting opinions on what would you go for: detail-ful color or the silhouette black-and-white. The original can be seen here: http://365project.org/vera365/365/2015-04-26

@cocobella Thanks, Corinne!

@annied I know what you mean, Annie! I tried to have details in black-and-white too, but then there is not enough contrast for the clouds and everything else. :)

I like this one because of the clouds.

A powerful image - almost abstract. Fav.

Love it.

I really like them both. Which one I prefer depends very much on my mood. I'd have them both as wall art, the monochrome in my studio and the red in my living area. :-)

Would not have figured what this piece was without the title. Surprised myself... actually like the colour shot more!

top mustang shot Vera

@vera365 yep I find the same - sometimes you have to forsake one detail for another - frustrating hey?
April 27th, 2015
Difficult choice. This version is very dramatic looking, but I think I prefer the color version.

This shot - color or B&W - is just outstanding! :)

I like this one better, but I couldn't quite make what the little V was...
April 27th, 2015
@whimsicalgrateful Thanks, Marta! This little V - you mean the chrome one? It's an air intake on the hood - the hood was opened to have the engine on display (so, it was standing vertically), and that's why the surrounding buildings could be reflected so nicely in it. Thank you for your comment!

Thank you guys so much for looking at both pics, comparing and giving an opinion! Makes me think, which is a good thing! :) Thanks a lot.
