Today is Candlemas which marks midway between Winter and Spring.
When candles are lighted on Candlemas day.
The dark is behind us and Spring's on its way.

@quietpurplehaze @wordpixman @beryl @demelo Thankyou for viewing and commenting very much appreciated. I had heard of Candlemas in various books I have read but knew nothing about it. It was listed in the bizzare holidays list for the word of the month for February.I did nominate it but it wasn't chosen for this month. I googled it to get information and it does also have religious connections.
