On Monday Hubby and I and my daughter Michelle met up with my 3 brothers and Sister-in-law's at Springfields retail outlet and Festival Gardens at Spalding in Lincolnshire the home of the tulip Festival and parade. After a lovely lunch and a long chat we walked through the gardens which had beautiful displays of tulips and water features. Although the sun was shining the wind was very cold. We all plan to return again in the summer and perhaps include some retail therapy in the great assortment of outlet shops.
The tulips are gorgeous but I like how you spent your day even better. Family time spent in beauty like that had to be very special! And I do believe that a warmer visit would be in order.
