I was browsing through my photographs for todays submission when I noticed my Angel pub sign had a few additions on it strange I had not noticed this before but it made me chuckle.
The Sistine Madonna-Raphael. Two angels who gaze in wistful contemplation.
The cherubs have obtained celebrity status all of their own they have adorned stamps,wrapping paper and postcards. One story is that Raphael based the cherubs on two children that he saw looking in a bakers window.
