rolling out the dough by wiesnerbeth

rolling out the dough

My first time buying dough from the pizza place between home and work. Lily used to work there, so when she’s home we aren’t allowed to go. It worked out well though, so when she comes back I’ll have to sneak it in.
Was looking at a recipe for pizza dough last night and contemplating it. Next time make your own - I'm worried about you still going out and about so much. Total lock-down here. Haven't left the house in 7 days.

@margonaut We used to make our own but then got so busy that we started making pizzas with tortillas instead. I only have one packet of yeast left and I promised to save it for my older son, who is moving back home this weekend — apparently he’s going to try making bread. This week I’ve only been out for the curbside pickup at the library though we are starting to get low on food now. Or should I say that we only have food that no one likes or can’t figure out how to combine it with other things that are left. I’m hiding a package of lemon bars in my freezer but the chocolate is almost gone.

@wiesnerbeth Ha Ha! Comfort food stash! And creative cooking is the way to go - it's how I discovered pimento cheese grits. Thank goodness I have a jar of yeast in the fridge. Sorry to hear about your chocolate situation, I have a bit of a quantity from a post-Christmas clearance at the grocery. Our library closed over a week ago, but of course we can still check out ebooks. Glad to hear you're staying safe.

@margonaut No grits here but my other son made pimento cheese last week — we used it in grilled cheese sandwiches. Thank goodness for ebooks. Yesterday was the last day for library curbside pickup. They stopped it abruptly, but the librarian called me just before they closed to see if I could run over and pick up my hold — they know me well there!
