The theme of the past nine days has been sky- and land-scapes in and around Lucignana, in the corner of Tuscany near Lucca. Now I'll spend a week or so giving a more intimate taste of Lucignana and its surroundings.
A neighbour has put out his demi-john for filling with the local wine. Simple and delicious, the wine bought from the bottega costs little more than € 1.60 a litre, the equivalent of about £1 a bottle!
I find this so interesting. It reminds me of how some rural communities here, have fresh milk delivered to their doorsteps. Great local color story and nice shot.
