Quite uncommon in the UK I believe but we get quite a few here in Italy. This one is quite happy to come up to the house (and batter its mirror image in the window).
@kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @wordpixman@monkeykid Yes, the red-start is small but also, in the case of this male, strong and vain - he keeps thinking he has a rival in his window reflection and batters it relentlessly until I close the shutter! @bobhuegel Thank you v much Bob!
