A Childhood Home

This is "Le Pietricce", the house my parents renovated with a great deal of sweat when I was about five years' old.

It is on an estate called Monteverdi, outside Paganico, in the Maremma (southern Tuscany) where I returned last weekend.

Imagine my delight to see it still so well looked after!

@nicoleterheide Thanks Nic! @navigator Thanks Bob! @pennystot You wouldn't believe how much work. They had to replace the roof and inside it was still a barn! @ivan Part of me wishes we still lived there! It was magical with the olive groves and rolling hills all around.
