@bkbinthecity Thanks Brian! @sangwann Thank you very much Dione! I go to Lucca quite regularly - to walk around the walls, do a spot of shopping, see exhibitions. There's a gallery called Fondazione Ragghianti that specialises in early 20th century Italian art I went to this time. @fishers Thank you v much Ian! @randystreat Well the walls were built for defensive purposes but were never really put to the test, except when the river flooded once in the early 19th century!
