Winter Dance by yaorenliu

Winter Dance

It was chili and gray at the top of the hill. I thought this photo would convey the wintry gloominess. After I load it up, I found the bare branches are full of rhythm of dance. That suits my sense of eternal optimism.
Nice silhouettes.

The image does convey a cold winter's day, the trees with no leaves, and an overall gloominess. Very effective.

I love the way that the tree seems to be reaching for the other one. And how the lacy branches are flowing from the top towards the other lacy set. Did you take a photo course this fall with Simon Wolfe?

@pam1 Yes I did. I think that it is you that I learned the 365 project. I should say thank you as it is so inspiring. We both use D7000 at the ccurse.

@yaorenliu I thought so. You are doing so great. Your photos have such a mood and thoughtful composition. We should get together one day and do a shoot together. I am going away tho in 3 weeks for a month to Europe.

@pam1 you are lucky to get away from cold winter here and so many photo opportunities in Europe. Love the idea of going out shooting together. I am working during the week so it has to be at weekend.

Thank you every one, This is the hill (around 450 meter) I am going regularly in the weekend for a quick fitness fix. Since on 365 project, I will carry my camera with me and there will be a lot of photos from the run.

@yaorenliu Wow - the 7000 is no small camera. Guess that will be your weights.
