Well spotted, they aren't easy to see, but I suppose they are easy to spot in your bathroom. Glad you saved it.
We had one in our garden a while ago and it was about 30 cm long. David came in to get his camera and he couldn't find it again because it just blended in with the leaves and sticks in the garden.
