@jerome Yes, I am from China and went to New Zealand 30 years ago. I am still in Beijing visiting my father. It is an interesting country indeed. I have done quite a few mountains here during my student years. I guess you might have visited a few too.

Unfortunately, I only traveled to China for two weeks. I was in Beijing, Ping'an, Yangshuo, Hong Kong. I did not have time for hiking in the mountains. I only wandered along the Chinese Wall and the rice terraces in southern China. I wanted to see the cone mountains. I would like to travel to China again - but then I would like to plan more time. Unfortunately, life is too short for all the beauties of this world...
