Cathee arrived in the evening yesterday. After Dewey's pizza and a stroll to Aglamesis for dessert we went back home to relax before our adventures begin.
Today was our first full day and when I say FULL I am not kidding. We started off by driving around town with Ande looking at the houses in the ritzy neighborhoods.
After lunch in Montgomery we dropped Ande off at home then headed downtown. We walked from Ohio to Kentucky on the Purple People Bridge crossing the state line and standing in two states at once. We took the Connector to get an overview of the area, explored the Reds stadium and gift shop, the Banks and Smale Park then ended on Fountain Square. Cathee loved the fountain. It's always a highlight of everyone who visits.
Of course we had to watch some Hallmark. We started off with "The Magic of Ordinary Days," one of my all-time favorites. I love the "mail order bride" genre.
