We took a Wilde Adventure today! Cathee was our first guest. Michelle drove us to Lexington where we started off at the Kentucky Horse Park. All the years I've lived in Kentucky and Ohio (all my life except 5 years) I've never toured the park. It was beautiful with all the trees just starting to bloom. Cathee was lovin' all the horses.
Next, we set off for the Spring Meet at Keeneland. Ande and Michelle both won on the seventh race while I sat in the grandstand taking tons of pics and spying on them with the zoom on my iPhone 😃. We ended the day by heading to downtown Lexington for dinner and a walk around. 800+ bourbons at The Bluegrass Tavern and the funky, contemporary art at the 21c Hotel were both a nice surprise. Cathee loved her first Wilde Adventure.
What a fun filled 12 hour adventure! Loved seeing all the horses, the horse statues, museums, horse park and great gift shops! I was in my happy place! :)
