Crinum Lilies aka Swamp Lilies

A busy day today — Lunch with my friend LuAnn, Happy Hour with my friend Alan and BINGO with my friend Michelle. Walking to my car after lunch I saw the prettiest patch of flowers. They looked like lilies but were growing in a ball from one stem. I looked them up and apparently they are called Swamp Lilies. They are a perennial that likes full sun, bloom in late summer and are common in the south. Funny I never noticed them before. I guess it's because we are just north of where they do best. I need to get some for our yard and see if I can get them to grow.
Simply beautiful fav:)

They are really pretty but they need a better name! How about Cluster, Sphere or Dandy Lillies? Anything is better than Swamp! Haha!
