Don't know how we scored VIP tickets for the Mac & Cheese Throwdown this afternoon but we did. We headed down to the Phoenix (I bet the last time I was there was 30 years ago for an Art Directors Club dinner) and taste-tested Mac & Cheese till we were sick. We voted for Court Street Lobster's. It was delish and according to us, the best in the city, hands down. Looks like we were right on because they came in first place. I don't think I need to eat Mac & Cheese again for a while but I would like to go and taste test their lobster rolls!
