My traveling friend and the woman we stayed with went back to the house and watercolored while I took a night excursion to Lover’s Cove to see the flying fish. I couldn’t believe it — they really did fly!! I guess I would fly too if I were being chased by sea lions knowing I was gonna be their dinner.
The silver-colored fish would jump from the water and fly a little before heading back down. It was really something to see much to the delight of everyone onboard. Lots of ooos and ahs along with squeals from the little kids. Such a fun night!
@Weezilou Thank you. If you look at my month as a whole you’ll see I was building a United States flag with my images. This watercolor image made a perfect addition to the white stripe.
