Day 6 and another morning at Wrightsville Beach with BJ&I. Ande and I walked in the sand all the way down to the pier, a little over 2 miles round trip. He hung out with Becca in the water while I built sand castles on the beach with Iris and Jon took pics. It was such a great morning that I didn’t want to end but once it hit over 90° again we called it quits.
Ande and I stopped for salads and an Açaí bowl at Drift Coffee for lunch then we met SR and Brad around 2:00 for the movies. SR and I saw “Barbie” enjoying 1/2 price Tuesday concessions and the boys saw “Oppenheimer.”
We had an hour and a half to kill before the boys’ movie let out so SR and I met BJ&I at Indochin Thai to exchange gifts and say goodbye. We picked up the boys and had dinner outside in 90° weather (Brad won’t eat inside a restaurant cuz of COVID) at Cafe Chinois. It was delish although too hot and muggy for my taste.
