On Day 5 we got up early and met Becca, Jon and Iris at Wrightsville Beach. I was starstruck as we passed by some of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” filming locations. SR pointed them out as I tried to take pics from the car. It was very convenient that I’m watching the second season now.
The beach was gorgeous. I wore my low-cut, black with white ruffled bathing suit I’ve had for 35 years (the oneIi bought for Catalina last summer was too big). My new boobs looked great and I felt great too. I’m so glad I had my surgery! We slathered on sunscreen and walked on the beach. After a couple hours it got to be about 93° so we left and headed for SR’s and Brad’s community pool then had lunch on the patio at Brunswick Brew & Cider since Brad won’t eat inside a restaurant cuz of COVID. Thank goodness for an overhead fan and my JoLo fan in front of me!!
We packed up and moved to a Holiday Inn Express nearby to be more comfortable as Brad can’t do AC cuz of his breathing. Brad made BBQ baby back ribs for dinner and I taught SR how to play Siamese Mahj. It was a really fun day.
