A pleasing sort of symmetry as I cycled back from Zumba.
In rather concerning news, two of the band Topette who played at the 60th birthday on Saturday have just tested positive for COVID including the one we know and hugged (twice, briefly, and outdoors). I've been feeling like I'm developing a chesty cough since then, no joke!
And in sadder news, it seems more and more possible that the two men missing in the Amazon have come to malicious harm as bodies have allegedly been found. I don't know her personally but the sister of one of them is a musician so I know people who do.
Remember the good things
1. F passed his Bar exams with flying colours, what a clever chap and hard working.
2. A gorgeous day and lots of opportunities to do routine stuff outside - Zumba was outside and I worked under the umbrella in the garden for much of the day.
3. Excellent terms and conditions that many of us in 9 to 5 jobs may take for granted but shouldn't - if I come down with COVID, work will pay me. Unlike Topette who have had to cancel their whole tour.
I like how some elements are identical on both sides, against the elements that make them each unique. Great spotting.
I like your optimistic outlook and gratitude!
I do hope you stay healthy!
