Anyone in the UK who has not noticed that Union Jacks seem to be strewn across windows, food, drinks, bags etc must be living in a bubble. Even Ginger Spice (Geri Halliwell) has donned the another Union Jack dress in readiness of the celerations.
This weekend is a long weekend for us, dear Queenie as given us an extra day off to help her celebrate her Diamond Jubilee. Diamond Jubilees for the monarchy are very rare and it would be nice to see how people have spent the jubilee weekend, I would love to see pictures of street parties and events. Please post them up for all to share. x
oh and here is a little starter. I was tempted to clean the window to get a cleaer shot, but I was getting strange looks from just taking the photo! ;-)

@traeumerlein87 - I am really lucky Lisa, I will be on a balcony of some offices right near Tower Bridge. My works solicitors invited me for an afternoon for drinks and food whilst enjoying the pageant from the balcony. Going to take my good lens with me - I am more excited about taking loads of people shots :-) I do hope it doesn't rain and the temperatures rise again! Have fun x
@megsy Golden man was out, unicycle juggler man and bald old shouty man...actually it was remarkably quiet, I was able to wheel my bike around the Apple Market and the bit by monsoon quite easily...I wonder why? Defo on the drinks, hope the builders behaved themselves :-)
Carshalton Pond's Bridge got yarnbombed overnight - it's now reached the national press - and is making many people smile. A result! 60 knitted duckes on a knitted ribbon...everyone is guessing who the local '(k)nitwits' might be

I wish I had seen the flotilla that well, @crimper_chun! But my view is displayed on the bottom left. The other boat pictures were taken in Hammersmith before the parade officially started.
